About

From keeping systems online to building the systems that keep themselves online.

Results-driven IT professional with 3+ years of technical support experience, now transitioning into DevOps. Hands-on with automation, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud infrastructure, with a problem-solving foundation built from real production support work.

Day to day at Systools Pvt. Ltd., that means troubleshooting enterprise software across Windows and macOS for a global client base, and — increasingly — automating the repetitive parts of that job with Python and Bash instead of doing them by hand. That automation instinct is what's driving the move into infrastructure-as-code, containers, and pipelines.

Currently building structured, hands-on practice across Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy, and Python automation — backed by eight DevOps-focused certifications completed over the past two years.

Containerized Java Web App — Build to Deploy

AWS · K8S

A Maven-built Java/Tomcat web app packaged two ways: a Kubernetes deployment, and a parallel AWS CodeBuild + CodeDeploy pipeline definition — covering both the "cloud-native" and "classic EC2" deploy paths for the same artifact.

Java · MavenTomcat 8Docker KubernetesAWS CodeBuildAWS CodeDeployTravis CI
  • Kubernetes Deployment running 3 replicas behind a NodePort Service
  • AWS CodeBuild spec (buildspec.yaml) installs Corretto 11 and runs mvn clean package as the build artifact stage
  • AWS CodeDeploy appspec.yml wires BeforeInstall / AfterInstall / Start / Stop lifecycle hook scripts for an EC2 target

E-Commerce Skeleton — Jenkins CI/CD Pipeline

JENKINS

A Dockerized Node.js app driven by a full declarative Jenkins pipeline: build, test, containerize, push to a registry, and roll out to Kubernetes — with cleanup on both success and failure.

Node.jsDockerJenkins Kubernetes (kubectl)Docker Hub
  • Five-stage Jenkinsfile: checkout → build/test → Docker build & tag → push → kubectl set image rollout
  • Credentials handled through Jenkins withCredentials for both Docker Hub and the cluster kubeconfig
  • Image tagged by Jenkins BUILD_NUMBER as well as latest for traceable rollbacks
  • Dockerfile hardened with a non-root user and a container HEALTHCHECK

Selenium Test Automation in Jenkins

TESTING

A Maven + Selenium test suite wired straight into Jenkins, with environment setup as its own pipeline stage and JUnit results published for visibility.

Java · MavenSeleniumJenkinsJUnit
  • Jenkinsfile with distinct Setup and Test stages
  • setup_selenium.sh handles environment prep before mvn clean test runs
  • JUnit XML results published from target/surefire-reports for in-Jenkins test visibility

CSV Processing Script, Dockerized

PYTHON

A small Python + Pandas script that summarizes a CSV file, packaged into a slim Docker image so it runs the same way anywhere — the smallest possible example of "containerize the automation."

PythonPandasDocker
  • requirements.txt-driven dependency install baked into the image
  • Single-purpose script (process_data.py) — deliberately minimal, built to learn the Docker packaging step in isolation
  • Slim python:3.9-slim base for fast, repeatable builds

Architecture Overview

One artifact, two deploy paths.

Diagrammed from the actual buildspec.yaml, appspec.yml, and Kubernetes manifests in the Java web-app project above.

GitHub source repo mvn package CodeBuild · Corretto11 .war build artifact CodeDeploy EC2 · Tomcat lifecycle hooks Kubernetes 3 pods NodePort :31028
Build stage. AWS CodeBuild installs Java 11 (Corretto) and runs the Maven build, producing a deployable .war artifact.
Path A — CodeDeploy. The artifact deploys to an EC2/Tomcat target via appspec lifecycle hooks (before-install, after-install, start, stop).
Path B — Kubernetes. The same app, containerized, runs as 3 replicas behind a NodePort Service — the cloud-native alternative to the EC2 path.
